Today is July 3. My flight for the U.S. departs on August 3. I have ONE MONTH left in Japan. (YAY!) I am so ready to go back home.

There are many reasons I haven’t been very happy in Japan—I’ll spare you the negativity tonight… just suffice it to say that I am counting down and celebrating each and every day that goes by.

5 teaching days left at my current job. I’ll actually be a little sad for that to finish, though. I’ve had a good time teaching the kids and my boss has been great. I feel very blessed to have worked for him the last year and a half.

So… moving on. It rained today. Imagine that. I’m sick of rain. I guess it wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for the fact that I have to walk 3 miles in the pouring rain when Mother Nature throws these tantrums. Bah!

31 days. Can’t wait. Running tomorrow morning. Can’t wait.
